Sutomore is a town in Bar commune, Montenegro, located on the Adriatic coast, with a population of 1827 inhabitants. It is located just 6 km from Bar town in Sutomor Bay. The Rumije mountains protect the city from bad weather and adverse weather conditions.
Sutomore is famous for its 2 km long beach, which is a very popular destination for tourists, especially Serbs and Montenegrins.
The air of history should not be lacking in this resort, where you must certainly visit the double altar, for both Catholic and Orthodox services, in St. Tekla's church. You can also make a very nice trip to the Ratac peninsula, where you will discover many olive and conifer orchards, next to the ruins of the Benedictine temple, the so-called Red Beach, which is really red - the red pebbles and the pebbles in the water or the impression that the sea would be Red. Nothing more beautiful for a couple in love. There are many small and lonely beaches here, like the beach of almost 1 km Zlatna Obala, whose sand helps people with rheumatic problems.
For those parties Sutomore is not the ideal destination, although there are restaurants and cafes. Sutomore is rather heaven for the romantic and for the families who want to have a peaceful holiday by the sea, walks and nature trips.
