Bare has an industrial port which is in continuous development, has 14,000 inhabitants and is one of the most modern and developed cities in Montenegro.

The city was built at the end of the 19th century. The beaches in the city of Bar are ideal for relaxation, and the most beautiful beach is Susan, 2 km long and is surrounded by forest.
The old city, the fortress Haj Nehaj, together with the remains of the 15th century fortress and the castle of King Nikola represent the historical and cultural heritage of the city. In the area of the city there is an olive tree older than 2000 years.
Bar is a well-known tourist resort with a lively nightlife, many bars, restaurants and discos.
